Magen Todd, Ph.d.

Founder and Director of Hope Therapy, Dr. Todd is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY23665) and IITAP Certified Sex Addiction Therapist.  She has specialized training in trauma therapy, including EMDR, Havening™ and Somatic Experiencing™.  Along with her clinical work, she has held faculty positions at Whittier College, College of the Canyons and the California School of Professional Psychology.  As a therapist, speaker, and advocate for trauma survivors, Dr. Todd is dedicated to healing and empowering men and women to heal old wounds that stand in the way of achieving true connection with others.

Dr. Todd is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, the Western Psychological Association , the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals, the International Society for the Study of Traumatic Stress, and PSI CHI Psychological Honors Society.

After graduating from California State University, Bakersfield, Magna Cum Laude, with a B.A. in Psychology, Dr. Todd went on to earn her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University.
